![]() ( 2020) found that consumers’ intention to use e-wallet is strongly affected by knowledge about riba (interest or usury) in a Muslim case. Previous research on the usage of e-wallets in specific and mobile payment, in general, resulted in various findings. However, if compared to Indonesia, e-wallet adoption in Malaysia is still in its infancy (PWC, 2018). On the other hand, BoostPay, Touch N’ Go Wallet, and Grab Pay are more popular in Malaysia. In Indonesia, there are several of server-based e-money (e-wallet) providers such as Go-Pay, OVO, LinkAja, DANA. E-wallet is a type of e-money (Aji et al., 2020) where the money is stored in a server, not in a chip card. ![]() One form of mobile payment alternative is e-wallets payment. Based on the Global Consumer Insight Survey 2019, there is a 67% customer or 19% growth in Thailand who already engaged in a mobile payment transaction, after Vietnam and Middle East countries by 24% and 20% growth, respectively. Therefore, the WHO suggested using digital money when possible (Brown, 2020).īefore this outbreak, cashless payment through smartphones already gained popularity (Andrieu, 2001) in several developing countries (Capgemini, 2019) such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia PWC ( 2019). Physical money can be the medium for the virus when it is touched by an infected person. As known, novel coronavirus or SARS-Cov2 can be easily transmitted if the droplets land on inanimate objects nearby an infected individual and are subsequently touched by other individuals (Ather et al., 2020). However, studies examining the COVID-19 pandemic effect on the way consumers make a payment remain scarce. Previous research has also already shown the pandemic effect on business in general (Swift, 2009). Recent papers show that physical distancing policy due to Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has significantly affected socio-economics (Fernandes, 2020 Nicola et al., 2020), finance (Goodell, 2020), and supply-chain (Ivanov, 2020 Turner & Akinremi, 2020). Besides, perceived usefulness fully mediated government support-intention to use e-wallets relationship, and partially mediated the effect of perceived risk on intention to use e-wallets. The results show that the effects of government support on the intention to use e-wallets differ between countries. The model is tested using PLS-Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. Both countries are selected because Indonesia and Malaysia can be considered as the two-worst countries in ASEAN affected by COVID-19. As a result, 259 total respondents from Indonesia and 207 from Malaysia are collected. Questionnaires are distributed to the respondents by using a proportional sampling technique. To give more fruitful insight, another major contribution of this study is investigating the group difference between Indonesia and Malaysia in the overall model. ![]() Due to a lack of study on this topic, the present study contributes to the literature by examining the effect of perceived risk, government support, and perceived usefulness on customers’ intention to use e-wallet during COVID-19 outbreak. People are worried that novel coronavirus (SARS-Cov2) can be transmitted through physical money. Government authorities in a growing number of countries are taking actions to encourage contactless payments as the COVID-19 pandemic escalates. Physical distancing policy that is encouraged by the World Health Organization (WHO) has inspired consumers to do contactless activities, including payment transaction.

![]() After some 24 years of great joy a swimming pool can bring to a Family and now the family includes grandchildren, it was time for a new pool! I'm sure we will experience many wonderful swimming seasons with our new Lomart pool too. Back in 1985, Fox Pools installed an above ground swimming pool for me. I was delighted for the opportunity to collaborate with your company once again. We are thrilled with our pool and look forward to many years of play! Thank you for a job well done! Yes, we tried swimming right away but it was a bit chilly after just being filled up. What a thrill it was to come home and see it all done. It integrates nicely into our existing structure and was done in one day. It was fun to watch them work they sure made it look easy as is always the case with skilled employees. Our pool came together very quickly it is obvious your folks know what they are doing. You took all the time needed to explain how pools have changed, what products are currently being used and why, what maintenance will be like and all the options we had to consider. Larry and I wanted to let you know how impressed we were with your team. Henry, Teresa, Hannah, Aaron, Phillip, Marisa & Ethan, Grand Rapids, MI Marisa is absolutely loving it and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You worked very hard to get it installed in a timely manner. Thanks so much for working with Make-A-Wish Foundation to provide a pool for Marisa. My wife and I greatly appreciate all of the work that went into this project. The team at Fox Pools did an exceptional job that exceeded all expectations. We have been enjoying our new pool for about a week. I will certainly pass on a good word to other pool owners. I wanted to say how happy I am with the job that was done replacing my pool liner. Your crew was fabulous, hard working and they did a great job! It has been fabulous and we have had friends over pretty much every day since it went in! The 90 plus degree days have helped :) Thanks again! We wanted to thank all the folks at Fox Pools again for working with us as we make the decision to purchase an in ground pool. Thank you to all of the great people at Fox Pools for bringing years and years of future enjoyment to our family and friends!!!! It does not store any personal data.Hello Fox Pools! We wanted to share a couple of pictures of our completed Pool! We LOVE it!!! Everyone that has seen it raves about how beautiful it is and serveral have made reference to our backyard looking like a "Resort". Mirabito mentioned that the EPA program is not the only one available. Applications for the program are due Aug. While the Clean School Bus program allocates funding to help build charging stations, Reeves said he thinks Mountain Parks Electric would help cover any remaining charging station costs. “Last I heard, they were like $375,000, just for the bus.” “Those things are not cheap,” Mirabito said. Mirabito supported the idea of electric buses, saying the district will have to get them eventually, so they might as well do it while the EPA will help pay for them. The program offers rebates to replace existing school buses with electric ones. ![]() He suggested a way to make buying such an expensive bus “more acceptable” though - applying for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean School Bus program. Superintendent Frank Reeves, who retires at the end of June, said he thought bus prices would not go down significantly any time soon. She said transit-style buses with front-end engines can work as activities buses for the district, but rear-end engine buses, like the one Mirabito asked for, provide more horsepower, are quieter and have more space for passengers and equipment. This year’s bus represents the high-end of the options Mirabito described. “I don’t think there’s any way around the price if we want to get a new bus.” ![]() “It’s just a sign of the times,” Mirabito said. The other factor increasing the cost feels familiar to most: inflation. Buses with low horsepower would not work. The purpose of the bus - to take students to activities - means the bus needs to be able to handle long distances and steep climbs. Mirabito said she realizes the bus costs a lot of money, but there were a few reasons for the high price tag. Lisa Mirabito, the district’s transportation director, spoke to the board about buying a new activity bus for a whopping $193,860. East Grand and West Grand school districts accepted a proposal from Mountain Parks Electric that could have provided their first electric buses that same year.Īt East Grand School District’s board meeting June 21, buses became a complicated issue. Coming from Tekken or Street Fighter, the hidden game of rock-paper-scissors-guard-throw-break-parry-reversal-counter leaves me a bit feverish. The real thrill is in the sidestep, the parry, the launcher. And I’m guessing even fans care little about Xianghua’s quest for the sword of legend, or Kilik’s quest for the sword of legend, or Taki’s quest for the- you get the idea. For loreheads, maybe there is something in these tales, but there wasn’t for me. Each character gets their own paper sculpture of cringey dialogue and scatterbrained plot on top of the vanilla campaign. The story mode here is a bad anime folded upon itself multiple times, like a soggy origami crane. But being a Tekken boy, I am also immunised against a certain flaw of 3D fighters: awful storytelling. All these teaching methods and training modes make the game feel like a good place to shuffle into the Soulcalibur world, and for a Tekken boy like me, that’s mostly true. It's mostly good for learning the basics by fighting an AI sensei early in the adventure, who tells you how to parry properly. This is a sort-of-RPG in which you travel around a map fighting computer enemies for points. There’s also a decent tutorial built into the “Libra of Soul” mode. She is blood type B, and likes to perform the following moves: murdering you. ![]() Maxi is a dandy who likes to hit people with nunchaku, for example, and then he does a somersault, probably from joy. It’s a solid introduction to each swordsperson. A single page gives you all their main attacks: the slashes and lunges and heelstomps you’ll find most useful. Each character’s movelist is divided into different pages. There are horizontal attacks, vertical attacks, kicks and a guard button. First, we must consider the fidelity of its stabbing. But more on the odd warriors of this particular fighting game in a moment. And even more satisfaction in surprising yourself, and carrying out these dance-like combos in the middle of sloppy fight against some nervy skeleton in a big dress. There is a tense satisfaction in memorising the right button-slaps for a vaulting deathkick or a flurry of needle-like pokes. I wouldn’t swear on a copy of Street Fighter II in court, but I enjoy the odd bust-up in Tekken 7 or For Honor or Absolver. To get something out of the way: I’m a fighting games dabbler. That’s right, poor horsey doesn’t even know who daddy is.Īlthough this backstory of Hooves' is my own dumb invention, it’s no more fanciful than any of the other tales in fighting game Soulcalibur VI, a rampant, fun-loving arena of swordplay and silliness. ![]() ![]() Unbeknownst to Hooves, he is a clone of the Witcher. The chains on his stand have it's durability depend on what the stand user is feeling, for example, if the stand user felt strong, tough, and over all felt good about himself, the chains would be extremely durable, but if he felt sad and weak, the chains would be durable as a tissue. The stand user can also put himself in these cages and reinforce them, depending on his mood. In these cages, the user can manipulate the inside of the cages, either by closing up the cages, or restrict all breathing in them, protect allies, or simply just slam them unto the ground multiple times. ![]() The chains can grab anything, any element like sound, fire, water, grass, and then trap it by making a cage out of the chains wrapped around it's 2 arms. Shackles has 2 chains around it's arms that are made of titanium and other very durable minerals. |
